Setting up your profile and email signature
Your profile affects every email the engine drafts on your behalf. Spend five minutes getting it right up front and the drafts will sound like you from day one.
The core fields
On your profile page (top-right avatar → Your profile):
- Display name — appears on every outbound as the sender's display name ("Mike Hardy <deal-xyz@…>")
- Company — shown on your share page header + in email signatures
- Phone — optional; appears in the share page's TC contact info
- Title — e.g. "Transaction Coordinator" or "Broker Associate"
- Email — your contact email; shown on the share page header
Writing voice
Pick the tone that matches how you actually write:
- Warm — friendly, first-name basis, ends with appreciation
- Professional — direct but courteous, minimal pleasantries
- Direct — no preamble, minimum words, explicit asks
Urgency still overrides: a critical-urgency email from a warm TC is firmer than an initial send, regardless of voice.
If you're not sure, start with professional. Review the first few drafts the engine produces, decide whether they sound like you, and adjust.
Signature fields
Your email signature is one or more lines appended to every outbound draft. Typical:
Mike Hardy
Transaction Coordinator
Hardy Coordination Group
(727) 555-0100
mike@hardycoordination.com
Drop any of this into the signature field in your profile. BuyerFlo renders it in standard email-signature format.
Auto-send mode
Manual (default) — every draft lands in the Review & Send queue. You approve each one before sending.
Auto — drafts queue for dispatch with a 10-minute undo window. The engine sends without explicit approval unless you cancel.
Keep it manual for your first deal or two until you trust the drafts. Flip to auto when you've verified quality and want the engine to move faster.
Network features
On by default per the Terms of Service. The profile toggle ("Network features") lets you disable at any time.
What participating does: BuyerFlo identifies the professional contacts on your deals (agents, title companies, counter-party transaction coordinators) and may introduce them to the platform. When someone you introduced becomes a customer, you earn referral credits. Full scope in our privacy policy.
To disable: Profile → scroll to Network features → click the card. Disabling stops new collection immediately. Existing pipeline entries aren't emailed after you disable.
What we never collect, ever:
- Client names (buyers, sellers)
- Dollar amounts from your deals
- Contract terms, contingencies, or deal specifics
- Anything from outside the professional roles you already work with
Privacy
See our privacy policy for the full detail. Quick version:
- Professional contact info on your deals may land in our network-features pipeline unless you opt out
- Client info (buyers, sellers, amounts, contract terms) stays inside your account, never shared externally, never used for outreach
- You control it. Disable network features any time. Request data export or deletion by emailing support.
