Your free trial and billing
BuyerFlo gives every new account one free deal to test the full engine end-to-end. No credit card required.
When the trial consumes
The trial is NOT consumed when you:
- Sign up
- Upload a contract
- Review the extraction
- Edit deal fields
The trial IS consumed the moment the engine sends its first kickoff email on a new deal. That's the earliest point where BuyerFlo is doing real, visible work on your behalf — so you can upload, review, and back out any time before that without burning anything.
What happens after the trial is used
Your first (now "used") trial deal keeps running normally through close. Every task activates, every send goes out, every reply gets captured. There's no mid-deal rug-pull.
To start a second deal, you'll need to upgrade your account. When you try to upload a new contract, you'll see "Free trial used — upgrade your account to start another deal."
Upgrading
Stripe self-serve checkout is coming. For now we handle upgrades personally — from the billing page (Your account → Billing) you can email us directly and we'll respond within one business day with a plan + invoice.
When you pay, an admin flips your status to paid (or comp for approved complimentary accounts) and the upgrade banner disappears. Deal creation unblocks immediately.
Comp'd accounts
If your account has been marked comp (complimentary access), you have unlimited deals with no charges. This is for:
- Hand-picked early partners
- Power-user customer success comps
- Test accounts we need for QA
Comp is set by BuyerFlo admin only. If you think you should be comped, email us.
Suspended accounts
Rare. If your account is suspended, every mutation is blocked — no new deals, no outbound sends, no edits. A red banner appears with a support link. This would only happen for a TOS issue or suspected fraud. Email support immediately if you think it's a mistake.
See your status anytime
Your account → Billing shows your current status with a plain-English description and next steps if any action is needed.
